It was absolutely gorgeous weather this week, but on Tuesday I went to B&M for a few bits.
Well I shouldn’t say a few bits cause I think everyone knows if you go to B&M by the time you get to the till, your jaw drops when Jenny on tills tells you that’ll be £136 please. Like how the hell does just a few things cost that much? I’ll never know.
However..
In B&M Finlay treated himself to a new pair of avengers headphones You (we’re superhero daft in this house) but just as we approach the dreaded Jenny on tills, I spy an avengers umbrella. I’m like okay his old umbrella broke, this ones only a few pound, we will just get it and then he’s got a new umbrella for the nursery walk.
To then walk outside on this scorching day for Finlay to put up his umbrella and tell us “it’s to keep the sun out my eyes”.
Wait a minute son, for 1 it’s bad luck to put an umbrella up when it’s not raining, and 2 the umbrella is see-through.
Explain to me how it is keeping the bloody sun out of your eyes?
So to sum it up, Finlay caused the rain today because he decided to put an umbrella up in beautiful weather. Thank you ever so much son. Because we all love a bit of rain as much as you.
And yes, he walked around with the label and price still on it too.
